Itinerary

Day 01:   COCHIN

On arrival at Cochin Airport/ Railway Station meet & Greet and transfer to Hotel. After noon proceed for the city tour of Cochin, the city famed as 'Queen of Arabian Sea, which takes you to Mattanchery Dutch Palace (closed on Fridays), St. Francis Church, The Oldest European Church in India, The Chinese Fishing Nets - living symbols of   centuries Old Chinese influence.  Later transfer to the Hotel.     Overnight Hotel.

Day 02: COCHIN- MUNNAR

Morning after Breakfast,  proceed to Munnar. Munnar, the picturesque hill station in India is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kindle. Located 1800 m above sea level, this hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday facilities make this destination a popular resort town. Among the exotic flora found in the forest and grassland here, will bloom next in 2006 A.D.  Munnar is also the home of Nilgiri Tahrs, an endangered species of wild goat. Afternoon arrival at Munnar. Later you will be taken for a sight seeing tour of Munnar.  Sightseeing tour around Munnar takes one to tea gardens where picturesque colonial towns and meandering mountain streams present photo opportunities galore.

Day 03:  MUNNAR - THEKKADY

Morning after breakfast proceed to Thekkady, Enjoy a drive through the spectacular countryside to arrive the hill station of Thekkady (Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary)- the very sound of the word Thekkady conjures up images of elephants, unending chains of hills and spice scented plantations. In the Periyar forest of Thekkady is one of the finest wildlife reserves in India, and spread across the entire district are picturesque plantations and hill towns that hold great opportunities for treks and mountain walks.  On arrival check in to the Hotel. Evening you can enjoy boat ride at Periyar Lake.  Overnight at hotel / resort.

Day 04:  THEKKADY

Early morning visit the sanctuary to view the wildlife.  Later you can take a visit to the fragrant spice plantations (optional).   Rest of the day, you can take a scroll in the local market.  Overnight at Hotel.

Day 05: THEKKADY - KUMARAKOM

Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to kumarakom,  Later go for a sightseeing trip of Kumarakom which includes bird sanctuary here, which is spread across 14 acres, is a favourite haunt of migratory birds and an ornithologist's paradise. Egrets, darters, herons, teal, waterfowl, cuckoo, wild duck and migratory birds like the Siberian stork that live here in flocks are a fascination for visitors. The best way to watch the birds of the Kumarakom sanctuary is a boat trip round the islands. 

Overnight at hotel / resort.

Day 06: Alleppey

Allepey, is a district of immense natural beauty with the aravbia sea in the west and a network of  lakes , lagoons and fresh water rivers criss-crossing it.

Day 07: KUMARAKOM - COCHIN

Morning after breakfast check out from the Hotel and drive to Cochin 

Departure transfer to Cochin Airport to connect the Flight/rail for onward journey.
